Firmare options for s500i (w580i)

HI. I just flashed my s500i to a w580i. Works perfect. all u need is a program called xs++ . very easy and good program to use. than u have to register at Top Sony - Redireccionando download the firmwares and follow the instructions.

But now i want the w910i firmware in it instead. it got walkman v3.0 in it. the other SE phone got v2.0 But is it possible to flash the firmware in a s500i (w580i) to the w910i ??? I mean. the screen size isnt the same. my phone is not set for 8Gb storage memory. there is a few thing that maybe would fuck up my phone if i try it. On the other side, it probably is a db2020.

Well if anyone have a question or answer about all this. please let me kno

Well. i tried the w850i firmware in it. my phone wouldnt start. so i guess that one didnt do the trick. sooo im gonna try the w660 firmware. see if that changes anything. i had the w580i in it but i pissed me off with the footsteps in the screen all the time. The training shit didnt work either soo i didnt need it. but i all i want was the Walkman player. (and maybe some new flash themes)

Well. ill keep this updated about what im doing. what that works and not works. in the end its probably gonna b s500i firmware in it anyway.

Well. it did go that well. i tried the w660 too. something was wrong cause it told my it was a k700. lol. dont kno what happend. so i just though. ahh what the f**k. ill just go back to s500i software and give a fuck about the rest. So i flashed it AGAIN but this time back to s500i firmware. in with all custom. main. n fs files.. Well. Flashing successfull. but my phone dont start. blinks red 5 times on the right side of the phone. thats all that happens. It wont connect to XS++ either. its seams that the phone is absoultely fucking dead. so what should i do now?

well it could be. but shoudnt the phone start charge the battery if the adapter is connected. well it dont. flashes 7 red flashes from just one side of the phone. and i had about 73% of battery when i started this stupid project.

could definitely be the battery, just charge it properly with the charger for one night and it should restart. maybe you'll need to reflash it with a working firmware. flashing should always just be done with a full battery...and i think it doesn't load while connected to xs++ but i can be wrong

Whats a service cable? how is it different from data cable ? And how can flashing another phone's software kill EROM?
