Benalvino: Haven't seen anyone claim an unlock on a w850 locked to Three yet, and I haven't seen anyone try either.

Did you clean the gold part of the SIM card?

It showed up like that, when I put my fingerprint on it.

93bh: Tried cleaning the connectors, but no change.

Pakkiz: I've had it checked twice against the IMEI-register. This I stated at the beginning of the thread.

I just found out that when doing <**< repeatedly after applying the Simox-patch, I get alternating lock-statuses. Sometimes appearing as completely unlocked, and at other times partially locked, either to network or NSCK. However; when doing <*>>*>*, I always get the same display; all five locks shown as unlocked. And the phone still won't make calls or send SMSes, displaying "Inactive SIM" on startup.

Have you checked if the phone has an extended lock?

Well your phone is unlocked but can't register to network or refuse to register. If the phones was locked u will get "Insert Correct SIM" message. Inactive SIM is when the SIM card can't register to network or it's expired.

    The Rascal: That makes sense.
