You just browse a little around this SUPERB forum (hem hem... :D ) and you'll find how to unlock your @*~# handset.
Now I think, if not a true immediate interest, my story might bring a few smiles... if not a few grinds.
My (superb too) K800i was bought on Ebay, locked on SFR France and branded on Vodafone.
In France (I think it's the same almost everywhere) after six months, the provider is supposed to give THE ORIGINAL OWNER the NCK code to unlock the thing. All right, so I did call SFR who first answered me, according to the IMEI, the phone was too recent () and I had to wait say 2 or 3 weeks.
Of cooouuurse I pretended to be the original buyer, who had provided me with all necessary details, date of birth, bank account and whatever.
OK, so 3 weeks after I called again and got the interesting reply that SFR could not get the code and I had to send the handset to some company in the North of France, along with a copy of the original buying invoice (God only knows where that might be, the owner had moved since and it was lost among all the things).
So I went to the next door shop who asked me no less than 40 euros for the unlocking !!!
So around I went on the net and eventually... HERE I AM !!!
:p:p:p
thanks to SFR and SE who would not give me the code...
LOL
