Trying to unlock my w880i, trouble is when i connect the cable and wait for xs++ to pick it up, it says "09:49:16| Error: Cannot open phone communication port
09:49:18| Disconnected... Unplug the phone
"
Any idea why that is ?

actually no i didnt, this is my old phone ive since removed them, im assuming i need to re-install them

Ok so i re-installed the usb drivers. Thing is its still giving me the same error. My c button is also the power button, and the phone is also switched on when i connect the cable. Ive tried connecting just after i hold c, plugging it in and then holding c, and still no further just keeps spewing out the same error argg lol

You need to press the 2 key instead of C key on w880 phones.
