I need help unlocking S.E. z550a (Fido, Canada CID51)

Hi,

I have been struggling to unlock z550a (Fido, Canada/ CID51) the cheapest and the easiest way possible.
I have already tried D-client but it isn't compatible with the phone.
I have heard that unlocking was possible through SE Tool but it seems as if SE Tool is not compatible with Winodows Vista because I am having issues opening the program.

Sorry I am still new to this. Your help will be much appreciated.

I have Vista and works. Tried with this. Click on the file and go to properties. Make sure you run it in 'compatibility mode' for WinXP and make sure you run it as an Administrator.

Unlocking is possible for free via patch but not for CIDs higher than 49. Why don't you go to the "unlockin" section and read the stickys?!
