You can still customize it with XS/setool lite, they support cid52 too.

What you loose is the ability to unlock it, higher CID means tighter the security, and it costs more; thats it.

I recommend you upgrade now, before CID53 or anything above appears ... :s

cid:49 & cid:52 all tools support cid:52 it's not that much different, also cid:52 you can unlock it yourself for free it costs nothing i unlocked mine for free.
