Is there a way to do a complete backup of the phone before flashig generic firmware ??? DB2020 CID 52 red...
Just got another phone, origional had defective M2 card. So they exchanged the whole phone...
I haven't been around for awhile so I was just wondering if it could be done yet with Far or XS ++...

No, I don't think that the Main of FS are in a GDSF backup..

I don't think that the MAIN or FS are included in a GDSF only backup.

You could copy every single file down with FAR manager but that would take forever. Other than that I think the branded firmwares are available online somwhere (confirm?).

File download is still NOT possible with XS++ but hopefully will be in the future.

Using Far. I'm too lazy too find the link now. Just go to Tutoring>> Using far to Read full firmware or something like that.
