Downgrade W600i to W550i

Is that possible to downgrade a W600i (cingular) to W550i?
That might sound pointless but what here's what I'm trying to do.

- Debrand and get rid of those cingular stuff (I'm sick of seeing that:mad:)
- Display or able to show asian languages.

If anyone have a idea what should I do, please help me to decide.:confused:

Make a full flash ( W600i ), main, filesystem and custom file. You will get rid of all stuff from cingular.

I was under the impression that you couldn't do this. I thought that despite the fact they look all but identical, the hardware on the inside is completely different. But if it works, let us know, I have a gf with a w550i wishing that she had the 850 band like the w600 does.

there is no difference between the w550 & w600, just the bands theres no point flashing a w550i to w600i, you might not be able to get a signal anymore.

well if there is no difference between the w550 and the w600, is there a way to just add the 850 band to the w550? Because the w550 is tri-band where the w600 is quad-band with EDGE.

W600i has EDGE while W550i doesn't, W600i is not an upgrade to W550i, so you can't downgrade you can't even use the firmware from one to other cuz there are hardware diffrences and the phones simply won't work.
