what do i need to do/use if i want to read hong hong chinese and typing.
i bought my phone from uk and i want to flash it to hong kong

what kind of cable do i need and what FIRMWARE

you need to flash your phone with a chinese firmware (china, Hong Kong) you can use XS++ or SETOOL to flash

You can use the DCU-60 Cable the one that came with your phone

You need
Main
FS
Cust pack

they are on the download page:

For example:

if you have a CID 52 Phone. You should get a firmware file that looks like:

K550_R1KC001_FS_HONG_KONG_RED52
and
K550_R1KC001_MAIN_CHINA_LI_RED52

Top one is the File System and the bottom one is the main.

they are on the downloads page under (R1KC001_RED52 )

make sure you have and understand everything before flashing =]

The Custom Pack, how do I flash that? Is it like how I normally Flash themes?

my phone is K550 R1JD001 and cid 51
that mean i need K550_R1JD001_FS_HONG_KONG_RED51 and
K550_R1JD001_MAIN_HONG_KONG_LI_RED51 right?
or the main one has to be K550_R1JD001_MAIN_CHINA_LI_RED51 ?

P.S when i flashing the phone does it 100% ?
what happen if flashing fail?

Look you can use one or other main.It`s only important that both filesystem and main firmware are same ( R1JD001 in this case ).

Note: MAIN and FS HAVE to be the same software version

Customization has to be same region as FS, in this case you can take one of this file:
