New guy with a serious problem

Hello,
My name is Ken. I have a w6ooi that has I believe corrupt firmware. It seems this is the only place I can get the file I need to fix my phone. My problem is I am disabled and cannot work. I have no income. What money I do get goes for my medication. I have a very short time to fix my phone before I am in deep troubles. My phone is paid for by extra minutes from a friend as a donation. I use my phone only for my doctors and keeping up with my medicaid and such. I have a very important phone meeting in less then 2 weeks for medicaid and if I miss it I lose it. I am trying to work around it but on short notice it is very hard to cut through the paper work. Is there anyway other then waiting for 2 months to get the file I need? I know the cost is only $3.00 us dollars but for me that is medication money. I figure the answer is no but I am desperate and had to ask. I do photo restorations and digital art if anyone would care to barter for it? Please, I need help. Thank you!

I found some older firmware that got my phone working except the 2-5-6-7-9 numbers and letters. Never any problems before with them. Any ideas? Could it be the wrong firmware? Thanks!

u can try another firmware version but i dont think this is the problem :rolleyes:

That's what I was wondering. Someone donated money to paypal for the right firmware from here but if that won't fix it then I'm not wasting the money. Thank you.

Also I just realized that there is no sound on the dead keys. I usually don't use sound but tried it. The lights are all on though. Could it be a loose cable?

Can someone give me a complete list of all the files I should get that will let me do everything ever needed to fix or change my phone please. I know what firmware files I need. I am wondering about unlocking files, debranding, updates, etc. I see there are many catgories to choose from. Will someone please help? Thank you!

why do my posts end up together? folks that see the post hasn't been done in 21 hours are not going to read it. How is someone supposed to get help here.

I'm not trying to build up posts. I can't wait for 2 months. I have to have this fixed now. Please!
