Help with my w550

when i turn on my w550, all i get is a white screen the phone still works but i get a continuos white screen, any body know a solution?:mad: :confused:

You a white screen of death problem my friend, it happens if you have pulled the usb cable without clicking on safely remove hardware in windows
You can get the latest firmware update at a sony service center

updating won't help, i had the same problem a year ago, a flashed my phone with the latest software and I had no problems since, of course when you remove from the USB it's recomended to click Safely Remove Hardware.

WSOD, i used to get it when i didnt remove USB cable properly.. i learned dat u need to click ' safely remove hardware' then the problem doesnt occur.

you can do one think try to use master reset in your phone ...... its works for me..

but before that take all backup of you msgs & phone no...ok

you gotta reflash your phone. the w550/w600 early versions all had white-screen problem. reflash and your phone will be ok.

the reflashing is not the best solution

Do you know a better solution? If you do, please share it !!! I had the same problem and reflashing was the only solution.

Does it happen all the time ?? Is there a more stable firmware
