Will I lose unlock if I debrand k800i

Hi I had my K800i unlocked from 3 network U.K last year by Davinci.

    Software R1CD001 CID 49

I want to debrand it but if I do will I lose the unlock?

    Thanks

You have to look up how you unlocked the phone. When it was patch unlocked it'll be locked after flashing the firmware. If it was full unlocked than it will stay unlocked after the update.

I looked on there website but I cant tell what method was used. When I got it unlocked it was kind of experimental as I was given instructions over IM cost 50 Euros though. Is there a way to tell from the service menu?

If you paid 50 €, then I think it`s a full unlock and not a patch unlock.

    Unlock / DB2020 50 EUR**
    Patch Unlock / DB2020 10 EUR**

So I think it will stay unlocked after debranding.

    Nice day

If it was map based unlocking, it should be permanent.

Try to use SeTool2 Lite with "Identify". It should tell you if network status is LOCKED or UNLOCKED

same problem with W880i. didnt knew it it was wheter unlock or not. go to SETool2 Lite - SE-NSE Forums , get SETool2 Lite, connect the phone, and see if it's network locked, or not.

    Se Tool says the following:

    welcome to setool2 lite edition v 1.08

    Flash ID check:897E
    Flash props sent ok

The only reference to locked is OTP

However when I check my W200i which was unlocked with a NCK code its says it is also otp locked:

    ChipID:8040,EMP protocol:0301
    NEW SECURITY MODEL DETECTED
    PHONE IS RED RETAIL PRODUCT
    FLASH CID detected:52
    Speed:921600
    Flash ID check:2019
    Flash props sent ok
    OTP LOCKED:1 CID:51 PAF:1 IMEI:********* CERT:RED
    FLASH CID:52 COLOR:RED

    MAPP CXC article: R4HA014 prgCXC1250719_GENERIC_ME
    MAPP CXC version: R4HA014
    Language Package:CENT_EUROPE
    CDA article: CDA102737/2
    CDA version: R1A
    Default article: cxc1250728
    Default version: R4HA014

    Operator: 234-15

Am I looking at the wrong locked status?

I think if you debrand your phone you'll still have unlocked phone, problem may be if you update your firmware
