I'm trying to upgrade my W580's EROM. The two files I have tried are these
W580_RED_CID52_R3B024_EROM-FOTA_2007-03-12_11.bin
W580_RED_CID52_R3B025_EROM-FOTA_2007-06-14_08.bin

The phone has been flashed with the original firmware and has not been customized. The problem I am having is when I press the power button a red light blinks 10 times under the top right softkey. I THINK it's the erom because I am not able to upgrade it. I've tried Wotan Server, flashed with Davinci Client, and tried Setool2 lite (info above). XS++ 3.2 doesn't show an error but doesn't work. Wotan says SEMCSEC status 3 and setool2 lite says what i put above. Someone please help me. My phones info is below

is your led still blinking red????, there are other ways and programmes that can repair your erom ,see my guide you use xs++ to flash the erom not setool2 lite

Don't upgrade EROM, If you don't know it.
It might kill the phone.

If your phone is dead, you use the service cable to repair it.

use your service cable and flash the erom with xs++3.1 follow my guide REPAIRING EROM GUIDES for most sonyericsson phones - Top Sony Forums
that should work 100% with the service cable, you may need to flash your phone after flashing the erom if it still doesn't work

i did that and the phone just vibrates when i turn it on. btw when xs read all my info my erom was n/a. im flashing the firmware right now.

flashed, didnt do it. then i tried repairing with setool2 lite , still didnt work.
