Don't upgrade EROM, If you don't know it.
It might kill the phone.

If your phone is dead, you use the service cable to repair it.

use your service cable and flash the erom with xs++3.1 follow my guide REPAIRING EROM GUIDES for most sonyericsson phones - Top Sony Forums
that should work 100% with the service cable, you may need to flash your phone after flashing the erom if it still doesn't work

i did that and the phone just vibrates when i turn it on. btw when xs read all my info my erom was n/a. im flashing the firmware right now.

flashed, didnt do it. then i tried repairing with setool2 lite , still didnt work.
