    Red face Re: XS++ 3.1 Guide-Flashing,Customizing,Recovering

    Hi all,
    Will the new version of XS++ .... allow me to view the FS of my W890i so that i can copy edited .thm's into the correct folder. I really want to add 3 or 4 Flashmenus to my phone.

    I tried a version of 3.2 obtained on SE-NSE and it kept saying phone not supported and then kept asking to insert sim. Luckily i removed the abttery and rebooted and it works fine again. Almost bricked a 3 day old unit.

    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Cheers
    Jet :)

    Re: XS++ 3.1 Guide-Flashing,Customizing,Recovering

    Ok, would it be safe to assume that i would at least be able to browse the FS ?
    I mean if the previous versions can do it surely that would be the aim of the new version or am i sadly mistaken ?
    :(
    Thanks
    Jet

    Re: XS++ 3.1 Guide-Flashing,Customizing,Recovering

    i want to try and edit any theme on my memory stick but point the menu to a .swf already in use such as Musaic or Bronzy. What is the standard name of the file so that i could edit the .xml and try and point it to the standard flashmenu of musiac for example. Would this work ??? Has anybody tried this. What file name can I use ?

    I tried it with citybeat and used musaic as my menu but kept saying file corrupt.

    Thanks
    Jet:confused:

    Re: XS++ 3.1 Guide-Flashing,Customizing,Recovering

    Alright on an earlier thread I made I was told to come to this thread and follow steps after Step 5.

    What I am trying to do is add some flash menus. Does using xs++ delete all my phone files or is it just when you are flashing the phone in the first couple of steps?
