You don't need to upgrade your firmware, because you have the latest.

Yes you can - for that you need this files:
    MAIN: W580_R8BE001_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52
    FS: W580_R8BE001_FS_AMERICA_2_RED52 and
    CUSTPACK: HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_107_R8A_GENERIC_AMERICA_2

    This is generic SE firmware

I used these files everything looked great but when I turn on my phone now it says network error please call network support. If I take my phone to ATT wil they make it work with their network or it is it some setting I have to change.

Where you put CUSTPACK , because this error come when flashing didn't finalized(You must put CUSTPACK unpacked in XS folder "own_custpack" and instead phone model in customization section select "own_custpack"

I tried putting the files unzip in the "files_to_upload" folder that did not work I tried putting them in a folder "own_custpack" inside of "files_to_upload" i also tried just having them in "own_custpack" in the main folder of XS++. Am I just out of luck?

Just leave "tpa" in "own_custpack" and in XS++ select in "CUSTOMIZATION" section instead your phone model - "own_custpack"
