    Can anyone help a noob please! I have a SE W880i with a fuzzy screen and someone told me to reflash. I have tried to connect it to XS++ but it says Error: Cannot open phone communication port

    Is this cos my cable is DCU65 and I need to use a DCU60 instead??

    On W880 you must press "2" instead "C".

    Super - that's worked so far - cheers!! BUT........

    I've installed the flas drivers from the file SEMC USB Flash Drivers and that was ok
    I then backed up GDFS and that was all ok
    Now when it comes to the actual Flashing part - on point 2 it says:

    "Select the firmwares (make sure you extract them first) by clicking the "..." buttons or simply dragging the file from the explorer to the box "

    Stoopid question - where do i get the firmwares from ?? I have a W880i and want to try and reflash to see if that resolves my screen problen before i buy a new lcd screen, so i'm not after putting any other model's firmware on or anything.

    Any advice gratefully rec'd - this is a good site!!

    Install SEUS and SEMC USB driver will be installed automatically!

    In Downloads > Softwares > XS++ > download XS++V31
