    Maximum Memory for W810I?

I read somewhere that the W810i can read a 4GB memory card but that a 4GIG card would greatly slow it down and it was recommended that nothing over 2GIG be used. Is this true?

I didn't know where to post this question I hope this is the right place.

I do think so. The more memory you have, the more stronger processor you need to address that memory. If I were you, I would try with both options.

If your really wanting as much space as possible and don't want to suffer any slowdown, you could always try one thing. I don't remember if I saw it here or on se-nse, but I remember there being a thread a while back about how you could format your memory card using the smallest allocation possible, and even though you physically wont see an increase in space in my computer, it does allow you to put more things on it (depending upon the size of the files. I guess it's more noticable with small files rather than larger files)

I always format my card with FAT32 (cluster size is small, less slack space). But some applications (Pocket Trainer and Walk Around The World) don't support FAT32.

the 2 gig works fine on the w300
so it should work on the w810, but it will probably be veeeeeeeeeey slow due to adressing such large volume space
