    Charging problems, connector...

With my SE w810i it's often hard to make it charge correctly. I have to jiggle with the connector a bit to make it charge. I have tried to clean the connectors but with no help.
As I understand I can replace the connector part of the phone? Is it a hard proceedure and/or expensive?

    Thanks in advance,
    Kensy

What often happens is that the pins on the port in the phone have a couple of specks of dust on them. This makes connecting both the headphones and charger difficult.
Now if you've got a rubber cover for the port and still experience this problem or if you're sure its not dust then I'd suggest you try with another charger :)

I have the same problem with K750, i have to look for position where it charges, or it usualy keeps poping "Optimised charging". Check if notches that hold the charger connetor are ok.

I have tried to clean it with elecronicspray etc with no berrer luck. As far as my eyes can see, there are no problems with the pins of the charger.

Do you guys know of any good webshop that sells most of the parts for a SE phone?

I have this problem too. And it's not only the charger - headphones are driving me crazy also. I've noticed that K750i and other "older" series have a significantly better connector than K610 and similar.

When I take a deep look, I see like my connector on my phone (k610i) is a bit curved... You know what I mean.

    BTW, that's the only thing I don't like about K610 :D

    Hi friend

I think your problem is not from the System connector , but it is from the 2 side pins of the charger connector , it is worn from the continuous use.

Just try with another charger and see if there is a difference.

i had this problem with my old k750 but only with the headset, not with my charger .. it could be a fault of k750 ...

you should try with another charger as raffi said .. in my case with another headset connector i had the same trouble .. it was from a k610 and it was faulty too ...

    good luck!
