use the manual setting and set the eq bar like a 'V' shape, u will get a MegaBass sound..

if u want megabass in your p990 ......:D
then mod ur phone with SWmail mod (sound mod full)
this mod increases the vol of your loudspeaker as well as in handsfree...it will also increases the bass

I'm not sure with P990, try googling around for Walkman Player 2 mod for your P990.

I just learned how to mod P1 yesterday with Walkman Player 3 with Megabass in it (P1's default player doesn't have one). At the same time I put swmail's sound mod full with it. Works great
