K550i dead? Tried to flash to W880i FW

So here's my problem. I thought I can put FW from W880i because HW platform and CID are same as on my K550i. DB2020 and cid's 52. But after it finished display is just blinking on and off. I reversed to W610i FW. But after showing up the logo of Sony Ericsson display becomes white and phone just restarts for while. Or logo isn't disappearing and it stands still. Without SIM I can access the phone. This is what I've got: everything on Service tests works, only Speaker and Earphone isn't working. Is it possible that my SIM card reader and audio chip are dead? Is there any hope to revive my K550? I've tried also SEUS, but nothing has changed. FW is still W610i.

After this I tried to put a GDFS from another K550i, because I was totally confused about my K550i. Now, normally, it won't power on, xs++, and any other software won't recognize the phone. Infrared blinks red when I hook on charge or try to power on. Is there hope to revive it anyway with box or any tool, I plan to take him to service centre.

By flashing the GDFS you definitely killed your phone.
Have you got a backup of your old GDFS? There's no way to revive it if you haven't got the backup.

Well I read that it's possible to write a new GDFS. I didn't backup my GDFS. I will take a phone to someone to repair it if possible with box. I only have DCU-60 :(

It's not possible for DB2020 phones. You can give it to someone with a box, but he won't be able to help you out.
Your phone is nothing but a brick now, sorry.

    Question Maybe false hope?

From what I read I think these answers are probably right but if you are like me and dont give up easily, heres my experience had same problem as you basicaly damaged security zone my case wrong eprom k750 I know 2010 but still principle the same you need copy of unused gdfs never used in other phone. Ask Mauro. Access to service box and cable (i.e. Setool) as the phones fs probably dont exist anymore and this is also where usb, bootloader etc lived so wont detect fastport cable. Flash GDFS do not try power phone then flash main and fs and depending on what software u using either add cust pack or tick finalize or complete. Now it worked for me on a 2010 but a 2020 ? but hey whats the alternative the mantlepiece I wouldnt be able to leave it there and I know this procedure is endorsed by lasuss because hes discussed the procedure on SE-NSE and and in setool forumb why would they give access to these "virgin" GDFS files in support. Let me know how u get on and if you cant get hold of something dont hurt to ask! Good luck!

On gsmserver there are plenty of boxes, and there I read: ''reset GDFS and IMEI data for DB2020 and DB2012 phones...''
If there isn't any hope of renewing my K550i, I'll buy a new SE, probably K610 or K800...

its true you cant write new gdfs by setool2lite and other flash program same it.if you want to write new gdfs (db2010.2012) you must use from box program.

I don't know how often I've got to say it, until people believe that DB2020 GDFS can't be repaired.
The only thing you can do is to sell the components...

It depends on the phone model. Phones supported by Se Tool cracked and USBSmart 8.4 can be repaired without having a box.

Ok, tommorow I'm gonna pick my phone from service center. If it can't be fixed I'll buy a new K800i, and of course never do same stupid thing like this. And sure, will do backup of my GDFS...
