K750i -> W800 with XS++ 3.1 and white screen :(

I just tried to flash my K750i to W800 using one of the tutorials on the forums and XS++ 3.1., everything seemed to go smoothly until i actually turn on my phone :(

I flashed Main and FS, and customized the phone using:
W800_R1NA005_MAIN_EU_1_CA_RED36.mbn
and
W800_R1NA005_FS_EUROPE_2_RED36.fbn

It turns on but all i can see is a blank white screen, nothing else. I have tried reflashing it but to no avail.

If anyone can provide any advice on this matter it would much appreciated,

R1NA005 is really old firmware so try newer firmware, also when i flashed my k750i cid:36 to a w800i i used firmware in a .bin format

Are You Sure You Are Using Right CID Files Cause K750 Comes In Two CID Versions, CID36-Old And CID-49 New. A Easy Way To Check Your CID Without Connecting To Your Computer Is Camera. If Your Camera Supports Zoom On Highest Resolution Then Its CID36 And If It Says "Zoom Not Avalaible On This Resolution"Then Its CID49.

That is really noob of me lol, i thought R1NA005 was the latest *embarrassed*
All the dates of the firmwares are really new on the site so i got confused as to which one is actually the latest? I'm still not sure which one is the latest :confused:
is it infact: R1BC002_RED36 ?

Also, just making sure i'm flashing correctly with XS++ 3.1,
I load up all three options at once, i.e. Main, FS and Customize, then click flash and it does all three without any hitch. I've read a forum thread on version 2, where they first do FS, then Customize, then Main. What is the correct way?

R2BC002 is correct.

You should use XS++ v1.2 or Gflash for CID36.

hi! number1 as u said u used .bin format for cid36 and what about cid49 with R1ca021 firmware to my favourite k750i flashing. U guys just keep modding and that is what I really love to do. I hope I get success like u guys.

White Screen Is Mainly Because Of MAIN.
Use R1BC002 Instead And Then Upgrade Using SEUS. This Might Solve Your Problem.
Also Post Your XS++ Log.

Alright I got it working, it was infact the new firmware that fixed the problem:
R1BC002_RED36

I used that and XS++ v3.1

Selected Main, FS and Customize all at once, went through tip top no problems again, difference was this time when i turned my phone on i was greeted by the W800 interface :D

One more query if anyone could answer, I set my phone to silent but when I'm in camera mode the shutter sound can still be heard? Can anything be done about this? I thought the flash would have taken care of this.

btw i'm from Australia so i flashed with:
W800_R1BC002_MAIN_EU_1_CA_RED36.mbn
W800_R1BC002_FS_EUROPE_2_RED36.fbn

and Customized to Europe_2

I think i've read somewhere that customizing to europe_1 enables a silent shutter?

Also if i did want to recustomize my phone is it possible just to go into XS++ and click "Customize" without doing the MAIN and FS all over again??

Actually You'll Have To Use The CustPack In Correspondence With FS. Like Your W800_R1BC002_FS_EUROPE_2_RED36 FS Can Go With Following:
Generic Trade United Kingdom,
o2 United Kingdom,
Telstra Australia,
Optus Australia,
Generic Trade Australia,
o2 Ireland,
Austria One Austria,
Generic EUROPE_2, and
o2 Germany.
