as u can convert an S500i to a W580i, i guess it should work the other way around, too.

but wait for an answer by the professionals here ;)

Swapping To S500i Firmware Is Of No Use. You'll Lose Many Functions Including The Shaking Functionality, TrackID etc.

well,i dont think you should flash it to s500...as a user said you will lose many functions,including radio e.g. the only impressive thing that s500 has is the everchanging theme,which you can easily install it to your w580 as it is on the net...

Thanks for your help, i am very in to flashing firmware, my w580i is now been converted to a k800i, but i will try the s500i just for fun, cheers for your help again....

none...only s500 (uselessness, only miss som function) and fw for w580 of course:)

i flashed my S500 @ w580 . and i'm not very happy. radio,pedometer,and shake control doesnt work.only thing that's better is player and track id. but if you have original W580 dont flash it into a S500 .w580 is much more better mobile
