I've Been Raising This Question Since Months On Converting A K790 To K818 But Havent Recieved A Perfect Response. All People Reply Is Java Track ID. Since A K790 And K818 Have Similar Hardwares As Both Are Non 3G And Have EDGE So I Decided To Flash Mines Without Any Tutorial. After Flash The Only Problem Was NO NETWORK. I Customized It Again, Flashed Again, Rewrote My BackedUp GDFS But To No Avail. Now When I've Reverted Back To k790 Firmware, Everything Is Working Perfectly But I Want To Go To k818. Please Help And If You Cant Please Suggest What You Think.
N.B. If You Want A Working Java Track ID See A New 100% Working TrackID For SE. - Top Sony Forums. Thats The ONLY Working Java TrackID For Now.

I don't know about mobile phone network. But is there something about k818 is for china market only?

Are you sure that the frequency used in china is the same as in your country?

As justme said there might be something with the frequencies, China has other frequencies and maybe this is somehow reflected in the firmware, that might be the reason why your phone is working as K790 and not working as a K818, I think there is an incompatibility between the firmware, SIM and the frequencies of the provider/network.

K790i: GSM/EDGE 900/1800/1900
K818c: GSM/EDGE 900/1800/1900
