K790 dead after uploading GDFS

sorry to hear what happened.
I'd recommend you go to a pro at a sony ericsson shop and get it fixed. I know people who've gotten bad GDFS writes fixed, but they were all db2010s. Give it a shot though

you could try but I'm am sorry to say it but, as other said you have an expensive brick, What where you thinking when you did that? Do you have any notions about flashing phone or GDFS, EROM OTP and so on? GDFS is unique to each phone, I guess you didn't know that, the best thing to do is take it to a service center, if it's under warranty say that you can't turn it on, if it's not under waranty be prepeared to pay, or you could buy yourself a new phone and use this as a display model. Good luck!

PS: you got your GDFS backed up before loading the other GDFS from that site or you backed up after you loaded the GDFS? if you did it before you might have a chance if you did it after you might have half a chance at a professional.

I have backup GDFS before uploading New GDFS. I used SEtool lite to backup GDFS and it is bin file. I don't had knowldge that GDFS is unique for each phone.

So If it is possible to load original GDFS, kindly let me know details.

give it a try, place the gdfs back-up in misc, at phone type choose your model, and press Write GDFS, don't worry you can't brick your phone more than it is now, when it's finished, remove battery, replace it and flash the phone with fresh firmware, maybe this will bring your phone back, but I don't guarantee.
