K800i Joystick Problem...Firmware?

Hi,
I recently bought a K800i, from day one the joystick has given problems, up and left have always been without problem, but down and right...are driving me mad! First no response only a beep. Then after pushing the joystick relatively hard it works! I turn the phone off and back to square one. I opened the phone.... the joystick is pretty well sealed with a rubber boot; using a meter the joystick is ok.
Now I’m thinking that it is firmware related, I flashed the phone to a K810.the joystick worked 100%! But Camera and Gallery gave problems. (No access) I have reflashed back to the original software and the problem with the joystick has returned..........
Any ideas...........?
Or a working firmware would be appreciated.

Hello

Joystick problems is 90% from the Joystick itself ..

You can check it by disassemble the phone and try to drop few drops of alcohol on the Joystick and work with it in many directions ..

Then re-assemble and test if the work is better then it is better to replace it to be 100% operational.
