w810i and white screen of death

hey all, i bought a w810i with WSOD (apparently), so I flashed it with:

-W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49
-W810_R4EA031_FS_T_MOB_INT_B_RED49


edit: I noticed my MAIN and FS are not the same:


could this be problematic?

Using XS++

Flashing was sucessful, and the phone was brought back to life.


Works fine for abit, but when I turn off the phone and turn it on again, the menus are VERY laggy. I have to turn it off and turn it back on again, and when I do, it is either fixed (ie: no lag), or I get WSOD again!

What could be the cause of this? (I did not put any media on the phone as there is no memory stick)

I think the problem is, I flashed using wrong (regional)? firmware.


The phone has an asia (hong kong?) style charger, but I am in North America, can someone tell me which is the 'right' firmware for the phone? I just want a 'newer' firmware (MAIN and FS) that was from the original country of the phone

PS: if i need to flash erom, do I just d/l the cid49 erom (from top sony downloads)?
