Unhappy Can't Connect K750i via Cruiser Cable to TMS Please Help

    Hi,

Am no noob when it comes to unlocking SE's, have successfully unlocked and flashed before using a generic cruiser cable that had to use a 9v battery & Semc v8.4.

The problem is I sold the cable I used to have, then my sister dropped her old vodafone unlocked and fully debranded phone down the toilet, she got a new vodafone K750i so I bought a new cable off ebay. Found appropriate drivers and everything installs ok, but I cannot get Total Multi Server to see the phone at all. I would usually hold the C button and connect and it would be found however this time nothing happens and its funny as when installing the cable it is named "TOTAL Multiserver USB cable by www.GsmLogs.net" Have checked on all the websites I could & tried a good few different drivers including all of those on TopSony. When it prompts to press the On button shortly! I press it and the phone turns on every time:( . Someone please help.

Would very much appreciate if someone could tell me what Im doing wrong and how I can unlock this K750i, using this cruiser cable from GsmLogs.

    Thanks in Advance

    Cable type??

Not even sure what type of cable I have but its definitely cruiser, and am also wondering if it comes under the mini usb category; Heres a link to the one I got on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/K750i-K750-W80...QQcmdZViewItem
and since I got it I haven't even been able to get it connected, to be used on the Total Multiserver and its supposed to be a Total Multiserver cable by GsmLogs.net. Someone from TMS please advice me as I have downloaded and installed the appropriate drivers for the cable and can't seem to get the TMS client to recognise the K750i.

Dont think it is, the differences are:

It has more pins to the phone than the DCU-60, and it has a small black box for self powering it.

This cable I have is a Total MultiServer cable only problem is, that I cant get it to work with TMS have tried everything.

Is it possible to Unlock with DCU-60?

Wotan dont offer unlocking at this time.

My K750i didnt work with the Read CID / Test Cable, its only when I bought a credit it worked to unlock the phone. Was using the TMS cable and it never registered before like it did with the standard cruiser cable (with battery requirement).

When you connect your phone with a cruiser-cable you donīt need to press c-button, but you have to choose com-port.

You seem to have checked in device manager under Ports and found the entry for Total Multiserver USB cable so you therefore have the driver from TOTAL MultiServer, mine is FTDI Ltd version 1.00.2154 that you have the drivers installed and check port number and if necessary in device manager -Ports-TMS etc-Port Settings-Advanced, here you can change the port to a lower number (but DO NOT change to a port already in use).

The Port number should be in the list for SEMCtool etc.
I have found that pressing 'C' mostly pointless, but removing and replacing the phone battery usually does the trick - seems to be a bit trial and error; and I couldnt mget my head around the thepress power button on phone 'shortly' (translated from japanese I think and ought to read short press on phone's power button).

One program wouldnt show the Com Port 14 because it was too high a number so I did a swap in 2 stages with Com Port 1 and all was wonderful. There is MSKB Q115831 on this at MS Article ID 115831
    Hope this helps.

dear razzle, make sure u have not killed your cable , because the polarity of 9 volt battery should be correct otherwise there is no point in fixing dead cable.
