My computer will not recognize my phone, power button will not work to turn off phone, just white screen.

any idea what cid the phone is??? try this

Turn off the phone, remove the battery, sim and memory card,
get setool2 lite 1.08 from 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download setool2lite.rar
unzip it, there will be a folder called drivers go in to it, then usb_flash_driver
then run gg-setup.exe.
select phone type from phone type drop-down list,
press identify
reinsurt battery and holding down 2+5 connect the phone
press the unlock/repair button

OK, I'm making baby steps here, I downloaded files needed, ran setool2lite, hooked up phone, computer says found new hardware usb flash device, setool still running, not identifing anything yet.

when the new hardware window appeared you should have directed it to the usb_flash_driver folder to install the USB Flash.
