    Flashing K610i

    Hello,

I'm trying to remove an operator name from my K610i. My phone has software version CXC1250374 - R1JG001- 070214. As I am fairly new to this I don't know what CD49 and CD52 means. Can someone tell me which software I need to accomplish this and if the usb cable received with the phone will do the trick? Thank you very much

download setool2 lite 1.08 from 4shared.com - online file sharing and storage - download setool2lite.rar
    unzip it,
you will see a folder called drivers, go in to it then go in usb_flash_driver, and run the .exe inside, now run setool2 lite 1.08
select your phone model from the drop down list,
download the tpa.zip file attached to this post,
put the tpa.zip in the MISC box,
    click flash
remove your phone battery for a few secs then reinsurt it and connect to the PC holding down C.
then when it's finished, unplug your phone remove your phone battery for a few secs then reinsurt, then turn your phone on the operator logo should be gone.

Hello number1, tried but Operator logo is still there...don't know what I did wrong. Do have to unzip the tpa first? I put tpa.zip in Misc box. Please advice.

Hi Number1, checked your layout.html and found out that sett name="TitleMode="1". I understand that this value should be 4 to remove the operator logo. I don't know how to edit xml files. Can you send me an updated tpa.zip or layout.html?
    Thanx

Open the xml file with an text editor, change the values and save it. It's just that simple ;)
You can rename from [yourfile].xml to [yourfile].txt to open it with the editor or hold down shift while you do a rightclick on it and choose "open with".
