Difference between those custpack for w580i?

I have a w580i from Rogers and i want to unbrand it with...

W580_R8BA024_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52
W580_R8BA024_FS_AMERICA_1_RED52

What custpack should i use? What are the differences?

HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_15_R8A_GENERIC_AMERICA_1
HB1-06_Gen_CDA102568_106_R8A_GENERIC_AMERICA_1

Is it better to use this one?

If I remember how this worked, the difference between the GENERIC_AMERICA's are that the higher ones are usually for branded firmwares. I'm not 100% sure on that but I think thats the way it was. As for which one your going to use, your going to have to use the one that matches the CDA # with your phone.

For example EUROPE_2 (CDA102497/105) and EUROPE_2 (CDA102497/9). The first one is branded, the second one is for Generic Trade. The unbranded CDA’s usually have got a smaller number.

Hey Bagman, are you still using the w580i with rogers? If yes, what did you do because i try to use xs++ 2 and 3.1 and i’m still unable to backup my GDFS. All i’ve got is a message that keep saying "Sending the applet....".

sorry I must have used America 1 I was wrong about 2... And no support for that language. Only english spanish and french..

CDA needs to match...
