This is a bug of my tool. Why it is not corrected? Well, there is no real use because DB2020 CID49 phones cannot be patched for free and I'm too lazy :D .

The answer: download XS++ v3.1, and connect your phone to it. When XS++ ask you if you want to upgrade the EROM CID to 52, press the Yes button. Download a K610 RED52 firmware, and follow the unlocking guide.

Hi all,

I just started playing around with my phone and found the instructions here most helpful.

I have read that some guys had some problems with their w850s. I thought I'd give it a try to see for myself and have done the following.

Phone: w850i
- CDI52
- DB2020
- Orange firmware....

1. Flashed using SETool 2 Lite and put quick access patch on.
- W850_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_CY_RED52.mbn
- W850_R1KG001_FS_CENT_EUROPE_RED52.fbn

2. Applied Remove_Sim_Lock script.

At first my phone turned on, but did not work..:confused:. realized I had not used a customisation package when i flashed the new firmware. But now it is working brilliant, with new SIM (not orange). :D
