    Re: Remove SIM-lock patch generator

You need this file: W850_R1JE001_FS_VFE_LIVE_2_RED52. You can use GENERIC firmware as well, but you need to debrand your phone first.

    Re: Remove SIM-lock patch generator

    Hi,

I'm new here. Thanks for the help, I'm able to unlock the sim lock of the phone. But now I'm facing a serious problem after unlocking the phone.

After I unlock my 3's Z610 from Australia, is able to take other sim card and make calls. The problem is, after boot up the phone, I close the flip of the phone, the light goes off and will never light up anymore. At first I thought the phone off by itself then found out that it is not, it still remain on because the light at the cover outside still able to view the time, and see properly, I can stilll see the internal screen under strong light. Once I get into the brightness setting, the light straight away came back so it is not the cable problem. It happen as long as I switch on the phone and close the flip, if I don't close the flip it won't have any problem.

I suspect is because I did something wrong and cause this problem and below is what I'm suspecting right now:-

    1) I've checked the original firmware of the phone is R1ED001 but I used Z610_R1JG001_MAIN_GENERIC_RED52.mbn instead of Z610_R1ED001_MAIN_GENERIC_EU-EMEA_RED49.mbn. Both of this files I got it from a website because I do not know where to get the MAIN.

    2) I did not debrand the phone and straight away unlock the sim lock.

Will it because I used a wrong MAIN firmware for it and should I debrand it first? How can I get it fixed? Flash again then apply the patch again? Or just debrand it will fix the problem? Please help me, it is kinda troublesome with a non-light screen... Thanks a million!!!
