We are here to help each other, so ... :) And no it is NOT a dead case.I dont want to annoy you guys any more with more question, so lets say that this is a dead case. :(
This is the problem. There is something wrong with driver. I will write the steps you need to do. The only problem is that I don't have English XP installed so the denominations will not be exact, but I hope you will understand.i but i saw that on the device manager.. under usb flash there was a explanation mark (!)
So, first download the USB Flash driver: USB_Flash_Drivers.rar, and unpack it to somewhere(ex. C:\FlashDriver\).
1. Open the Device manager: Start menu->Run, type sysdm.cpl and press Enter. Click on Hardware tab and then on Device Manager button.
2. Now follow the USB Flash Driver Installation - Guide from steps 3a and 3b.
3.The wizard want to connect to Win Update; choose the 3rd radio button(No, not now), and press Next
4. Select the second radio button(Install from list or from a specific location(for advanced users)), and press Next
5. Select the second radio button also(Do not search. I will select myself the driver software), and press Next
6. Press the Own disk... (or something like that), in opening window press the Browse... button, and select the ggsemc.inf(in our example this will be on C:\FlashDriver\ggsemc.inf path), and press the Open, then the OK, and then the Next buttons.
7. Wait a little to install Windows the driver, and finally press the Done(or Finish etc) button.
8. Unplug the USB cable, remove the battery and then put it back, and try to connect it to SETool2 Lite or XS++.
Now it should work. Waiting your feedback...
