As you may have guessed I am new to all of this. I followed the instructions in another thread which seemed to offer what I was trying to do which was get rid of a load of Asian Orange menus that appeared to be in Hindi.

I think the instructions did say that the phone would upgrade to K810.

Yes, I did unlock it with Ultimate Unlocker - very quickly and easily if I might say so.
