Hello Mates, I´m trying to unlock a friends sons phone.. He have a k610i, I have sim unlocked some samsung phones for his other sons, but this phone is more of a challenge for me. And i was woundering if there is some patient person on this forum that can take his time to help me unlocking this phone for him. Thanks in advance

First read this XS++ 3.1 Guide-Flashing, Customizing, Recovering - Top Sony Forums and after you connect phone with XS++ post log here without IMEI number and than we tell you what next

Thanks seamonkey for the tip. I now have downloaded xs++ and the semc usb flas driver..
i then did what the xs++ said, press connect on xs++ -> hold C and insert usb cabel. But it dont work when i have the port on USB.. when i changed to COM 1 then the program says.. port opened ok. but it still dont work.. I downloaded the newest version of xs++. Maybe i should have a specific version of it?
I looked in the xs++ logg and here is what it says.

If you use setool lite, you must write a custom pack for phone to get finalized properly.

in the scripts folder there is a file named test.zip, you can use this one for finalize your phone.

I flashed my K800i, and unlocked it.
What I did was to custom change the CDA code when I flashed the fs file, or ensure you have choosen the right region fs file.

I used: Simlockpatch gen v2.1, and XS++ v3.2 plus setool2lite v1.10

When you hit connect in XS++,press C button on phone and than connect USB cable - if that don't work - try to change USB port and clean conector on phone - if that don't work try to reinstall flash drivers

It's doesn't matter what tool you use - you must finalize flashing with CUSTPACK, but CUSTPACK must be same region like FS (so if you use FS - EUROPE_2 - than CUSTPACK must be for EUROPE_2). Just look here XS++ 3.1 Guide-Flashing, Customizing, Recovering - Top Sony Forums SECTION 4

Still - I have situation where mobile phone has bought on leasing and its close to the end of 2-yer payment, so I wondered - is it safe to do this patching? Will it break any agreements to telephone company or service provider?

Oh yes, Please do something with that rest thing - First time i did that file creation, I was confused ebcause I could find created file in make_rest folder, but it already was in rest folder ... the list is huge. Maybe you could set some kind of attributes to focus to that new rest file? ;)

There is always a minor chance that something goes wrong, but if you make a GDFS backup, then there is no reason to worry.

Read the contract and you will know for sure. However your service provider will NOT be noticed about unlocking...
