    Worked flawlessly. Had a hard time getting SEMU Flash driver installed, but eventually did. Just be patient with this whole process and follow everything to the letter.

    This was a brand new w580i from BestBuy....worked on the first round through....amazing

    So is the main file just like W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn that i find somewhere else that matches my model? Then i make a patch with that and then use setool to patch it?

    Should i flash my phone with that .mbn? Right now it's on the default branded firmware...also will it enable flash menus if i flash the firm

    Yes you need to flash with W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn(or whatever W810 CID49 MAIN firmware) or you need to find a firmware what match exactly your phone's firmware. Then make a patch, and following that DB2010 CID49 guide to apply the patch...

    This patch is designed to remove the SP(service provider) lock. Don't know how it will react your 5 locked phone(I haven't tried it, because I don't have any phone where all the 5 padlocks are locked)...

    Thank you very much simox. I'm all unlocked and debranded...For those who were saying that 5 lock didn't work before, well it did in my case.

    Use Far Manager + SEFP plugin to apply the patch. Or use can use GSlide as well...
