Remove SIM-lock patch generator

Hey simox...great thread.
I'm tryin to unlock my W580. But i don't have the qamaker folder or exe file you talk about in the section for applying the quick access patch. What should i do? This is all new to me so haven't a clue about it!

That you will find in folder SEtool2Lite and you can download Setool from here

You need the SETool2 Lite v1.11. Only this version contain the qamaker. You can download it from RapidShare: 1-Click Webhosting for e.g. Or just search for it, you will get a lot of hits.

I was just wondering, I followed the exact steps (and actually tried with the MAIN GENERIC and NAM one) on my S500i that is CID52 and it didn't seem to work... SETool Lite still claims it's network locked, and I can't used my sim :( And all the process went smoothly, now I'm completely clueless why it wont work :( could it be a problem with the GDFS?

SETool Lite still claims it's network locked,

Even if the phone is unlocked by patch, it will 'think' that the phone is locked, because it reads the locks info from GDFS but the patch alter the MAIN firmware. So it is absolutely a normal behavior.

What is the error message do you get?

Please give us more details. SIM-lock Patch Generator is unable to generate the patch? What CID has your phone? Or SETool2 Lite gives you some error message?

SIM-lock Patch Generator generate patch. my CID is 49 red. setool2 give no error message.
but when i patch vkp, all 5 lock is locked.
