by the way my phone is black but all the downloadable files says RED does it matter?

Without any technical details: the "red color" means that the phone is a retail product(this type of phone is the most frequent), and not the phone's case color.

I'm trying to patch my phone and I ran into a problem with the Sim lock patch tool. When I try to load the file I got from my phone using XS++ I get the following message:

"C:\Backup\K790_35220801xxxxxx_GDFS_BACKUP.bin" is not a valid firmware!

When I connect my phone in XS++ I get the following output:

That file is a GDFS backup and not a MAIN firmware. You need to use this file: K790_R1JC002_MAIN_GENERIC_EV_RED52, and it will be OK.

Thanks, but how to unlock 51 CID k55o phone, trying k++ to change the cid 52 but can't do that ?

ah i dont know about any k++ , but XS++ is supposed to upgrade your CID to 52.
if that doesn't work there is a manual script for it, download that and put it on your phone using setool lite.

First of all install the USB Falash Driver. Then connect the phone to XS++ v3.1 and when it ask you if you want to upgrade the CID to 52, press the Yes button.
