Remove SIM-lock patch generator

Hi Simox,

I have a quick question. Even I got the CONFIGURATION ERROR after following the unlock procedure. By going through the forums I found that we need to put a custom pack to avoid this error. But how do we determine which custom pack to use with which MAIN FIRMWARE version?

I used the W580_R8BE001_MAIN_GENERIC_LA_RED52.mbn file to unlock my W580 phone.

Look at this example:

Finalization = Completing flashing operations and storing basic settings that phone needs to properly operate [i.e. security certificates, (and this is why phone displays "configuration error" if it is not properly done)].

Firmware has two parts:
1. FS: It contains languages, images, sounds, animations, settings, etc. Anything that isn't pure software.
2. Main: It contains the software.

Note: MAIN and FS HAVE to be the same software version
MAIN R1BC002
FS R1BC002
Customization has to be same region as FS, in this case
FS = EU5 (EUROPE_5)
Customization =CDA102338/50 ( EUROPE_5 Sunrise Switzerland)

Just tried to do this, all worked untill i went to use the SIMlockPatch Generator, and it says

Flash CID: 53 not supported yet.

Cid 53 phones are not supported , yet , by Simox SIMlockPatch Generator.
And if they were, you couldn`t apply patch with none free program.

Hi! i'm a totaly new to this kind of stuff and i wonder what main i should use, i have a w660i and when i look in the downloads section and there are so many to choose from which one should i take? oh and if it matters i need swedish. the phone is locked to telia. by the way my phone is black but all the downloadable files says RED does it matter?
