First my k610i was branded by 3 now unbranded and back to sony spec.trying to unlock fone went through process all went well till i powered fone up it says configuration error contact my netwaork support?any ideas cheers

Reflash your phone with MAIN FS and Custom! And then try to patch again!

i have samme issue now ... :S reflashed ... didn't help

You need to install the USB Flash Driver. Check the first post of this thread. There is an unlocking tutorial. Follow it carefully...

Apply first the quick access patch with the flag "Bypass db2020 security" and main firmware file in ADD box, press flash. Then apply the unlock patch with only "Quick Access" flag, press write script

It looks like you applied the patches correctly. Put in phone a SIM card from other provider, and if the phone accept it, then your phone is unlocked.

Does this patch work for z520 phones? it is cid36 what flashing tool should i use?

Yes, it works with Z520 CID36 phones. To apply the patch use the FAR Manager + SEFP(Sony Ericsson Flasher Plugin - or something like this :) ).
