Well my phone is updated to cid52, i forgot to mention that.
But i cant get the cid52 R1CB001 since i havent permission to download (20 posts in 1 months ?). Could someone give it to me in an external link ?
I will then give you feedback if it worked ...

i dont know, it really doesnt work, now i tried i think 25 times, dont know where to find the problem. but what is weird is, that i have to do the quick access patch every time new to have quick access. but after that when i continue with point 2 and 3 every thing happens like it should exept that the lock is still there:eek:

Are you trying to unlock it or kill it ?
25 times is a bit too much.

I have also failed to unlock mine k610. According to i have learned at this forum when i updated to cid 52 i now require the main generic cid 52 also (not very easy to find).

Check the files you got if they match, both cid and firmware. Simple things could get in the way of simple tasks.
In your case if i am not mistaken W580 R6BC002 CID52. Needs to be it.(Page 64)

Check the locks man < * * <. If there are 5 locks this generator can't help u.

Have you checked the SIM-locks? Check the SIM-lock with >*<<*<* menu, Service Info-> SIM lock. Do not use the <**< menu because it gives you some random values with this patch installed. Please tell us what padlocks are open and what are closed.
When you insert another SIM card what message do you get exactly? And post an SETool2 Lite Identify log too...

At the moment no, sorry. You can unlock DB2000/2010 CID36/49 and DB2020 CID52 phones only. When DB3150 patching will be available, I will support it, just like I did with the DB2020 platform.

i checked the simlock and it is a 5 lock, so this patch can nothing do for me:(, what are the possebilities to unlock a 5 lock?

Hi i just signed up so i can search around easier and get more insight. I have a w810i DB2010 with CID49, if i follow the instructions in the .doc provided by 'Top Sony' and do step two will ths work for me? I have a network 5 lock so is that a problem?

Also for the .mbn file. Do i just use my gdfs--.bin
