    Re: Remove SIM-lock patch generator

Worked flawlessly. Had a hard time getting SEMU Flash driver installed, but eventually did. Just be patient with this whole process and follow everything to the letter.

This was a brand new w580i from BestBuy....worked on the first round through....amazing

    Re: Remove SIM-lock patch generator

So is the main file just like W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn that i find somewhere else that matches my model? Then i make a patch with that and then use setool to patch it?

Should i flash my phone with that .mbn? Right now it's on the default branded firmware...also will it enable flash menus if i flash the firm

    Re: Remove SIM-lock patch generator

Yes you need to flash with W810_R4EA031_MAIN_GENERIC_HN_RED49.mbn(or whatever W810 CID49 MAIN firmware) or you need to find a firmware what match exactly your phone's firmware. Then make a patch, and following that DB2010 CID49 guide to apply the patch...

    tibhar:
This patch is designed to remove the SP(service provider) lock. Don't know how it will react your 5 locked phone(I haven't tried it, because I don't have any phone where all the 5 padlocks are locked)...

    Re: Remove SIM-lock patch generator

I'm glad that you managed to unlock your phone :)
Ok, so it works with phones where all the 5 padlocks are locked. This is great...

    Re: Remove SIM-lock patch generator

Use Far Manager + SEFP plugin to apply the patch. Or use can use GSlide as well...

    Re: Remove SIM-lock patch generator

    Code:
    2008-04-22 11:12:01
welcome to Remove SIM-Lock patch generator v2.1
    supported firmwares: DB2000/DB2010/DB2012/DB2020 CID36, CID49, CID50, CID51, CID52

You can drag firmware files here...

    Selected firmware: C:\Documents and Settings\Twitch\Desktop\R1GB001\K800_R1GB001
    _MAIN_VODAFONE_WI_RED49.mbn
    Analyzing firmware...
BABE header integrity check failed! "C:\Documents and Settings\Twitch\Desktop
    \R1GB001\K800_R1GB001_MAIN_VODAFONE_WI_RED49.mbn" firmware is probably corrupted!
    FINISHED.
I've downloaded the firmware from about 5 different places, so I know it isn't corrupted firmware....any ideas?
