Have you removed the battery from phone before that step? If you skip the qamaker part, then you will not be able to apply further patches... The SETool2 Lite v1.11 folder is the path to SEtool2 Lite v1.11 folder. e.g. D:\SETool2ltv1.11\ If you don't have the \qamaker\qamaker.exe in SETool2 Lite folder, then download another SEtool2 Lite v1.11...

Some people reported that SETool2 Lite doesn't works well with some phones, and they get: this embedded flashloader not responds ! The workaround is to apply the patches with jdflasher.

i had 2 phones w810i one was faulty and the other was locked to orange, i backed up the wrong gdfs (the faulty one) i can see the problem with the missmatch imei, i have got a back up of the faulty phones gdfs, so can you edit it and change the imei No in the gdfs file and then put that on my phone (locked to orange), the faulty phone got put in a washer, and now the screen will not light up (no 14v) to light the screen (main board faulty) but will still turn on.

That's the exact problem iam getting!! Can you tell me how i can fix it
It's just that whenever itry to write script, i hold c and connect the phone THE PHONE OPENS UP AUTOMATICALLY and i get that "embedded flashloader not respond" error

Look use setool lite and when it ask to use the c - button to connect, then you use 2+5 button instead. It should connect your phone.

First, make sure you have all the necessary files.
Second, just follow the guide from OP. it's relatively easy if you have a DB2020 CID52.

Just make sure you follow the instructions exactly as stated. Don't deviate from them. You be in good shape in about 20mins max.

BTW, which phone you trying to unlock? If it's a w580. PM me, I can help w/ that.

Hi..

I would like to Unlcok the W580i.

here is the thing what happend with my phone,
i got it from Rogers, and i unlocked it by paying some amount.
Then i want to debrand it, so i searched in net, got this setool2 and falshed it.
I have my SIM in the phone itself, while flashing.

it did well, then i started again, its ask me to choose
which mode do you want, Normal mode or Flight mode, then choose any mode, its say "insert correct sim".

I think its again locked.

So now i want to unlock by myself instead of paying money. Could you guys please help me what to do, where to start, with full instructions will help great to me.

So, you flashed your phone, and suppose you applied the custom pack too... You can unlock your phone with SETool2 Lite v1.11, just follow carefully(DO NOT skip any step) the unlocking guide.

How to generate .VKP file by using Setool2V1.1.11, it says drag .mbn file in to qamaker folder, but from do u get this .mbn file itself. even after getting it, if i drop .mbn file into qamaker folder, will it generate automatically .vkp file

pls some one help me out.
