after flasing my w810i comes up with a red screen and says! please wait
with a progress bar under that, it gets 1/4 way up and stops. left it all night untill my bat went flat, still the same, can anybody please help me on this, or do i put it in the bin. this is my read out of the phone

III. We will apply the generated unlock patch to unlock the phone.
With SETool2 Lite v1.11:
1. Click on Clear button.
2. Select your phone model.
3. Tick Use "quick access" patch checkbox
4. Uncheck(remove the tick from) Bypass DB2020 security checkbox.
5. Click on ... (three dots) button near MISC files box, and select the vkp file generated by SIMLockPatchGen.
6. Click Write SCRIPT button
7. Follow the instructions in left status window...
8. READ THIS CAREFULLY, it is a little tricky: When a dialog pop-up, click "Yes" to remove the patch. Click "No" to add the patch. In this case click on "No" button.

I can't get this part to work!!! WHen i press C and plug in phone the phone starts up automatically and it wants to install w580i software..(my phone is w500i flashed to w580i)

Also i ignored this step:

2. In Windows Explorer drag the MAIN file (.mbn) onto SETool2 Lite v1.11 folder\qamaker\qamaker.exe. In the qamaker's folder you will get a quick_access_XXXX_XXXXXXX.vkp file.

What qmaker?? I just put main firmware in that folder (i had to create one)

Hi.
I have just tried this method to unclock my k800 and now my fone comes up with a message:
- (Configuration error. Please contact your network operator or service centre)
I don't forget backup GDFS before flash fone :( Any ideas what could be causing this problem???

My FW: Main: k810-R8BA024-Generic
FS: Apac

It looks like the GDFS is damaged. You need to restore the backup what you made before trying to flash/unlock.

The SETool2 Lite v1.11 folder is the path to SEtool2 Lite v1.11 folder. e.g. D:\SETool2ltv1.11\ If you don't have the \qamaker\qamaker.exe in SETool2 Lite folder, then download another SEtool2 Lite v1.11...

Some people reported that SETool2 Lite doesn't works well with some phones, and they get: this embedded flashloader not responds ! The workaround is to apply the patches with jdflasher.

I've flash my fone with sx++ 3.1 and everything it's OK
Now i not sure can add pacth with setool because when u want add pacth u must flash FW and pacth quitaccess by settol

yes i have!
Could u give me a SEtool2 lite v1.11 that has qamaker.exe in that folder?
Now my phone is screwed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i can't get it to be detected in Setool2 OR xs++
sigh..i suppose i can repeat this step with the correct SEtool2 lite v1.11 and get it to work

i had 2 phones w810i one was faulty and the other was locked to orange, i backed up the wrong gdfs (the faulty one) i can see the problem with the missmatch imei, i have got a back up of the faulty phones gdfs, so can you edit it and change the imei No in the gdfs file and then put that on my phone (locked to orange), the faulty phone got put in a washer, and now the screen will not light up (no 14v) to light the screen (main board faulty) but will still turn on.
