It seems that not the patching is the problem. Reflash completely your phone(MAIN, FS, custom pack) and unlock it again.

Thanks alot! Managed to unlock my (already unlocked before) T-Mobile W850i after successfully f*cking it up whilst trying to patch it!

hi there, when i try and use the patch maker it says that it is not a valid firmware. is it because it is a .bin file.
thats the file i used to flash/rebrand my fone so i thought it would be fine.
its a w880 if thats relevant.
