thanks mate ive sorted it now its fully unlocked to any network and with the vodafone brand i wanted thankyou so much mate for all your hard work your a star

i got another prob now its my v630i i tryed reflashing it with the k800i firmwear but now all it does is turn on with a white screen and i cant download till tomoz as ive downloaded the max 50 mb :(
will it be strate forward with sorting the v630i i just need the right firmwear yea ??

Wasn't the smartest thing to cross flash the v630 with K800 firmware :). Yes, you need the right firmware files, flash it completely(MAIN, FS, custom pack) and the phone should work.

hi again mate ive sorted out the flashing but i cant install the custom pack ive tryed but when i turn the phone on it said configeration error now i know its the customize thingy but how do i sort it out

Simox, tried using your patch unlocker.. seemed SE TOOL was getting hung up, so I aborted.. how long should it take, normally, to apply the patch?

Follow this tutorial: How to apply patches with SETool2 Lite V1.11.
It seems to hung up(the user interface not responding), but in reality the program works. You need to wait about 15-20 minutes. If you follow that tutorial, first you will apply the quick access patch(this is the long process). Next step is to apply the unlock patch, which will finish fast (in a couple of ten seconds).

the k800i turns on then goes black then the white light again i tryed to reflash using the 49red vodafone but that keeps getting errors so i tryed the 52red and that goes ok till i try to sart the phone up the white light again
what am i doing wrong

Like I said in first post and in thousand and one places, that at the moment you can apply the patches to DB2000/DB2010 CID36/49 and DB2020 CID52 phones only...
