Don't give up;)
First flash your phone (MAIN, FS, cust pack) with XS++. Do not flash it with SETool2 lite, just patch it following that tutorial. Should work...

Then try the second step without original SIM card. Trying with a Three-card would be good to be sure that your IMEI number isn't blacklisted.

The W850 unlock patch should work but I cannot guarantee. However you can try to flash your phone with W850_R1KG001_MAIN_GENERIC_CY_RED52 firmware and then unlock your phone (the patch generated from this firmware is tested and working).
