Does the Patch work with A2 phones (c702).
If it does ,can someone write link or procedure.

no it doesn't. there is no free method to unlock A2 phones

I'm new here.I have a W810i with DB2010 CID49 platform and R4dd001 Firmware.
I got a problem to generate the patch with the Simlockpatchgenv2.1.When I click on the 3 dot button a window pops up and ask the location of the firmware.My question is where does the firmware locate? In the phone or I have to download it from somewhere.I know someone may have already asked the same question,but I can't find the answer.Can someone direct me to the right track? Thanks in advance

first, you need to know your phone firmware. download setool2lite and see the identify log after done, download the MAIN firmware in the download area

1. open setool2lite, 2. choose ur phone type, 3. press identify button of setool2lite, 4. connect ur phone via data cable holding "c" button of ur phone. after that check out the log box of setool2lite that [if you get the message "RESTORATION FILE PRESENT FOR DETECTED FIRMWARE" Your phone won't start if you patch it without having the correct rest files available!]

Now I know I made a mistake of not downloading the Main Firmware.
Do you know I can use other versions of firmware because the one I need is not in the list.

Go to Download Forum Area: Downloads - W580 - Top Sony, choose a Firmware, then MAIN file.
