like jasmin said, change the usb port to another, i.e insert the usb port to another usb port to your computer and try again if it works. it may also be dirty fastport, clean it with alcohol or with pencil tip.

i have tried to unlock with the patch, didn't work. My w810i has simlock 5-closed on it. The log file from Remove SIM soft has following:

I have successfully patched the firmware with setool2lite v.11 but the in the phone the service-simlock status still shows network locked 5-closed. In the Setool2 lite help guide it says that 5-closed network locks can't be patched. is it true?

According to @Simox, it should work with phones "where all the 5 padlocks are locked".
Post also the patching log from Setool.

Most probably you made something wrong when tried to apply the patch. Like hyperion17 said, post the SETool2 Lite log when you applied the patch.

Please help me, i don't know whats wrong , it seems the operation is successful but in the phone service info it says the Simlock 5, network lock 5. Thank you for your time and help

to fix 5 locks problem u need to have it fully unlock or wright the gdfs back upFROM THAT PHONE ONLY !!!this is the only way to fix it as some how u have erased the locks on it is that how u got it

Your phone is already unlocked premanently, so there is no use to patch unlock it, but (like philzfog12 said) this is a GDFS problem...

thanks guys for your help i will try to rewrite GDFS and see what happens.

only do it if u have a copy from that phone or it wont work after and get stuck at 25 % on the please wait bar on start up

i would only know, how to apply patches to my w850, like the extended brightness control, or the 5 tabs on file manager, not how to flash my phone :'-(
